Rule of Two

Rule of Two is a fan-made concept trailer that I decided to make for a non-existant Star Wars movie. I have been making Star Wars fan films since I first started learning VFX, and this will hopefully be a great example of what a small team of people can do in their spare time for fun.

This is very much a passion project for me, and I’m delighted to say that it’s the first time I’ve had significant help from others on a project like this. If it weren’t for the assistance of Purbo Alam, Fonz van der Linden, Scott Mercill, Tristan Rollond, Saffron Stankiewicz, Daria Yudina and particularly an artist who chooses to go by the name Nux, this project would be much more work than it currently is.

This project has been in the works for a very long time now, but was sidelined while I was working on the compositing course, due to time constraints. Now that the course has been released, I am making this project a much higher priority.

This is also the first in a series of concept trailers I intend to make for YouTube, partially as a learning tool for myself, but also hopefully as the start of something larger. Only time will tell…
